I must have MPD because sometimes I focus on just one thing for hours on end. Other times, I’m all over the place, doing a million things at once. Today, I’m multitasking but tomorrow I might be buried in one single action item. It depends on the task and my state of mind, but I try to flexible and do whatever works best in any given situation

I find I think better when I have all the little, piddly things done and out of the way, so that I can focus on the bigger stuff. But if I have all of them to do at once? Mental clutter!

I focus when I need to focus, but if it's not needed, I am somewhat distracted. I get paid the same amount no matter when my work gets done...doing things faster doesn't help me any, slowing down doesn't help me any, so I just do it at whatever pace suits me that day. I used to have a job where there was a lot more to get done, on a tighter time frame, and there I stayed focused on one thing, finished it, then went to the next thing.
