My feeling is that it never hurts to give the bare facts … and I admit I usually skim past anything other than the title/author when I read reviews, too … but that doesn’t mean the information shouldn’t be there for those people who DO. Besides, I find it gives me a good starting point, just flipping through a book to find the publisher, the table of contents, the number of pages–it all gets me LOOKING at the book and thinking about it. Not a bad thing! And, well, it can be a nice space-filler, too, if you need that (grin).

I do mostly book reviews on my blog, but I don't give publisher information. However, I do link to where my readers can find that information, so I guess that is helpful. It was pretty straight-forward to write, really, because I basically spelled out exactly what I’m DOING. I’d love to know if I’m missing something, though…

Although, I’d love a poll so people could “agree” or “disagree” with each review, but when I tried the WP-Poll widget, nothing happened. I think I blame the TMA theme….
